Kendal Golf Club has always had an excellent reputation for the strength of its Junior Section.
Over the years it has produced many talented players who have represented the County at the highest level, with many then joining the Professional ranks and forging a career locally as Club Professionals.
The Club was awarded GolfMark certification in 2008, the first club in the area to achieve this status. This accreditation is given to junior and beginner friendly clubs who comply to stringent national standards. Please see seperate page within our website for more information.
The Junior Section is currently organised by Nick Bone, a stalwart Kendal member who is also a level 1 coach. He is ably assisted by parents and grandparents and by our Club Professional Ben Waller. Ben offers coaching sessions throughout the year to juniors of all ages and experience, you do not need to be a member to participate in these sessions. Please contact the Professional Shop for further details.
The current Junior Captain is Dan Bescoby.
Membership rates for junior golfers are very competitive, see our membership page for upto date information, and at Kendal we offer a comprehensive competition schedule throughout the year. Please see below provisional fixture list for 2011.
